KARPET is dedicated to the sourcing and distribution of handmade Moroccan rugs while supporting local artisans.

2. Scope

These general terms and conditions govern all sales made through the Karpet website. By placing an order, the customer fully and unconditionally accepts these terms.

3. Products

All rugs offered for sale are handmade and unique. Slight irregularities in weaving, shape, or tone are normal and attest to the authenticity of artisanal craftsmanship.

Custom-made rugs can be produced upon request. However, due to the handmade nature of the work, no two rugs are ever identical.

4. Orders

Orders are confirmed once full payment is received. Karpet reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order in the event of a payment issue, prior dispute, or suspicion of fraud.

The customer is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of delivery information. Karpet cannot be held liable in case of delivery failure due to incorrect information.

5. Payment Methods & Security

All prices are in euros. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. For international orders, any applicable import duties, taxes, or customs fees are the responsibility of the buyer.

Karpet accepts payment via credit card, bank transfer, and other secure online payment methods.
Transactions are processed securely using encryption to protect your information.

6. Shipping, Delivery & Fitting Services

We offer worldwide shipping. Shipping fees are calculated based on the destination and size of the order.

Karpet also offers rug fitting services in Brussels and surrounding areas. A fee of €50 per fitting session is charged and is redeemable upon purchase of a rug of €250 or more. For more information, visit the Rug Fitting page.

8. Liability

Karpet shall not be held liable for any indirect damages that may arise from the use of the products sold. In any case, our liability is limited to the amount paid by the customer for the order in question.

9. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Belgium.
